Please consider submitting a proposal to the 2013 IUP Spring Methodology on Foreign Language Teaching (April 26, 2013) to share with your colleagues what you do best in your foreign language classes.
Conference sessions may focus on any topic related to language pedagogy. Sessions should be non-language specific and should feature general strategies/approaches that can be incorporated into any foreign language program. Language-specific examples may be used in the session. Conference sessions are one hour in length. Proposals that include “hands on” participation are strongly encouraged.
We offer an honorarium of $75 per session ($100 to be shared in the event of multiple presenters). Presenters are expected to share a pdf version of their handout and/or powerpoint presentation with the IUP Conference commiittee, in order to be made available to conference attendees on this website.The cost of duplication of handouts is at the expense of the presenter. Since presenters are our guests at the conference, their registration and lunch fees are waived.
