Our Mission

The Child Advocacy Center of Indiana County is dedicated to improving our community’s response to child abuse and neglect.

Our Goal

The Children’s Advocacy Center was created to provide local medical and social service professionals, legal authorities, and other victim advocacy organizations a “single point of contact” facility to provide unified and coordinated multidisciplinary services to children when there is an investigation of child abuse.

Our Collaborative

In a coordinated community effort, individuals from numerous area agencies representing: law enforcement, prosecution, child protective services, the courts, mental and medical health, victim services, education and social services, work cooperatively to improve the investigation, treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect.

Our Services

We will provide case reviews, medical exams, forensic interviews, forensic evaluations and follow-up services for each case that is accepted at the center. Services will be available to the victim child, siblings and non-offending parent(s)/guardian(s) as deemed necessary.
