IUP Senate Research Committee Award to continue research examining earning patterns in households where women earn more than their spouses, 7/93-6/94

 

IUP Senate Faculty Research Grant for examining division of household labor for couples in which the female earns as much or more than the male. Using Panel Survey of Income Dynamics Data we examine the educational, income, and other characteristics of dual career couples in which the female earns as much or more than the spouse. We also investigate whether this pattern of female outearning mates persists over time in the same household instruction, 7/92-6/93
