Current Research Interests
My main areas of research are in Late Antiquity, ancient Greece and Roman, early Medieval, and Byzantine history. I also have an interest in Maritime and Economic history.
I am currently involved with the Pyla-Koutsopetria Archaeological Project which is an archaeological survey of the Pyla region to the northeast of Larnaka, Cyprus. The project began in 2003 and is expected to continue through 2012.
