Geography 261: Geography of Wine  FAQ

Q: Must I be 21 to take the course?

A: No numerous students under 21 have taken the course, but you, like them, cannot consume wine, you can only smell it?

Q: I have heard that there is a field trip.  Is it required?

A:  Participating in the field trip is not required

Q: What happens on the field trip?  Where do we go?

A: We take a trip to Erie County and visit the wine growing community of Northeast, Pennsylvania.  Surrounding Northeast are five commercial wineries, which we will visit.  Time permitting, we will also visit the beautiful Lake Erie Shoreline.

Q: Can I do anything to get into the course?

A: No, I grant no special circumstances admissions.  There is a regular process for enrolling in classes, violating that process is not fair (not that the process is fair) to those following the rules.
