A. First
editorial meeting to plan workshop paper. The workshop paper will be a
six-page tabloid. It must be produced by Friday at 7 p.m. Journalism
workshop students may have to work late evenings Thursday and possibly
Friday.

will draw up a list of story ideas that can be developed into news stories.

will be assigned to suggest a name for the newspaper by Tuesday.

will practice writing stories. First assignment: Students will be asked
to type a short article about themselves and their interest in high school
journalism.

will appoint managing editor. Will chair editorial meetings for the following

the six pages.

online editor who will supervise stories for online publishing.

workshop photographer responsible for the use and care of the digital camera.
Responsibilities:

Editor (preferably workshop counselor) will be responsible for :

track of each student's progress in reporting and writing stories

the digital camera and taking pictures as requested by students.

to take xeroxed copies to the Saturday meeting with parents.
Page Editor
will be responsible for:
