| This movie have really been put down a little
too much. You can't walk in the theater expecting an in depth film about
spies and CIA agents. The witty humor and jokes started right from the
beginning of the movie.
I must say that there were some dry periods that lasted a little too long, and Heather Graham's inability as Felicity Shagwell to deliver punch lines in anything more than a dry, boring manner did take a little away from the movie. Mike Meyers' ability to play a good bit of the cast really made the movie that much better. Seeing him play Dr. Evil in the first Austin Powers was very funny, but he was hilarious as the Scottish Fat Bastard. The jokes begin as soon as the credits start, and don't end until the film is completely over. This movie is definitely worth seeing, especially for those people who take James Bond films way too seriously. Austin Powers, The Spy Who Shagged Me is rated PG-13 for sexual innuendo, including far too many euphemisms for male genitalia. |
